YUDHOYONO's appointment of Papua and Accelerate construction of West Papua

SUSILO BAMBANG YUDHOYONO said, to accelerate the development of Papua and West Papua, the Government will mengintesifkan the measures reduction in poverty rates through improved food security and economic empowerment of the community.

To improve the quality of human resources, will be made in the provision of quality teachers in sufficient numbers. Was to penetrate, the Government will increase the keterisolasian of the road segment that penetrates from the South coast to the central mountains.

Next year, the Government allocate a longer Special Autonomous Fund (DOC) Rp 13.2 trillion. The Government will allocate for Papua Province Rp 4.3 trillion; West Papua Rp 1.8 trillion; and Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) USD $ 6.3 trillion.

In addition to Funding special autonomy, the Government is also allocating additional funds for the infrastructure of Papua and West Papua Rp 1 trillion.

"I ask that this special Autonomous Fund can be managed in a transparent and accountable, so that we can make the most optimally for the fulfillment of kekerasan, healthcare, education, infrastructure and economy of the people," cetus SBY.
