Wamen ESDM Dorong Harga BBM Subsidi Naik Jadi Rp 6.500/Liter

Jakarta - Dana ratusan triliun habis untuk BBM subsidi. Jatah BBM subsidi 46 juta kiloliter (KL) tahun ini berpotensi 'jebol' lagi. Pihak Kementerian ESDM berharap harga BBM subsidi bisa dinaikkan hingga Rp 6.500/liter.

Wakil Menteri ESDM Rudi Rubiandini menyatakan, kenaikan harga BBM subsidi bisa menekan tingkat konsumsi yang selama ini sangat besar.

Menurut Rudi, jika harga BBM subsidi naik menjadi Rp 6.000/liter, maka konsumsi BBM subsidi yang bisa dihemat mencapai 2,66 juta KL.

"Kalau (harga BBM subsidi) Rp 6.000 itu, kuotanya bisa sampai 48,67 juta KL. Kalau tidak (naik) itu bisa sampai 50 juta KL," ujar Rudi di kantor Kemenko Perekonomian, Jalan Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, Kamis (10/1/2013).

Menurut Rudi, langkah kenaikan harga BBM subsidi sudah cukup baik dibandingkan hanya mengandalkan program pengendalian seperti melarang mobil dinas pakai bensin subsidi.

"Tetap BBM harus naik. Jebolnya tetap terukur kan cuma 2,6 juta KL sekian," tegasnya.

Rudi menjelaskan, kapan pun kebijakan kenaikan harga BBM subsidi harys dapat terealisasi. Pasalnya, baik secara makro maupun mikro, kebijakan ini sangat realistis.

"Sekarang nggak perlu begitu. Anytime bisa kapan pun. Dinyatakan secara ekonomi makro dan mikro pantas dinaikkan itu harus dinaikkan," papar Rudi.

Dikatakan Rudi, harga BBM subsidi bisa diubah menjadi Rp 6.000 atau Rp 6.500 per liter. "Saya tetap optimis karena itu kan solusinya. Rp 6.000-6.500," tutupnya.

Wamen DEMR: Admits Lebaran, Electricity Supply Java-Bali Safe

Wamen DEMR: Many Fires Due To Shorted Out, Don't Blame PLN
