Unilever Indonesia off the Stocks ' insect repellent ' to Malaysia

Jakarta -PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) announced the sale of its stake in PT Technopia Lever, a producer of insect repellent ' Nomos ' to company Domestos from Texchem Resources Bhd, Malaysia.

Director of Unilever Indonesia, Franklin Gomez in his written description of the Cham, Friday (24/8/2012), explains, the company divested 51% stake in Technopia Lever or equivalent 38.250 sheets. The Total amount of the transaction is Rp 38,25 billion.

"The value of such transactions is the nominal value of total shares Technopia Lever (TL) taking into account that since its inception in 2002, the TL had experienced in PT eight books (including the period of January-June 2012)," he said.

He added, the release of action is aimed at aligning the stock portfolio products Unilever gobal. Where, categories don't include insect repellent fuel in it

Looking at the contribution of sales management, Domestos Nomos was minimal. An average of only 0.41% per year since the company was founded.

Based on the description in Indonesia, Uniliver official website, Texchem is a founding shareholder in 3 's TL July 2012. After one year, selling shares to Texchem TL Technopia Singapore Pte. Ltd.

With the purchase of shares of TL, UNVR will return to proprietors Texchem majority stake in Technopia Lever.
