Completes purchase of stake in Newmont, ' Kemenkeu ' to the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES Sowan

Jakarta -the Ministry of Finance will soon be visiting the HOUSE pleaded for prompt purchase remaining shares of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara divestment. It is as a form of adherence to the decisions of the Constitutional Court (MK) over the case of a purchase of shares the company of such mines.

"Because there's been a decision of the COURT House approval jharus well we would come to the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES. This is good government and State Affairs, there need be no shame. It is the mandate of the Court, we're going to come, "said the General Secretary of Kemenkeu Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin found time in his Office, Jalan Raya Foreveraddictedtoyou, Jakarta, Saturday (24/8/2012).

Badaruddin said petition approval to the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES is the Government's attempt to keep the wealth of the country in order to be used entirely for the prosperity of the people.

"The goal is right to the extent provided prosperity of the people. If the Government has to take it well because we take existing decisions of the CONSTITUTIONAL COURT had to House approval well we would come to the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES, "he asserted.

Earlier, the authorities of the State over the disputed purchase of shares of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara divestitures (NNT) of 7% between the Government of the PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL has been decided. The Constitutional Court (MK) decided not to grant the petition for the Government.

Based on the verdict of the COURT read Chief Constitutional Court, Mahfud MD (pemrintah), the applicant and the respondent I (HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES) should make a joint policy, then the stock purchases 7% is a government authority but NTT must be with the consent of the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES.
