CTF: 80 per cent of ponds do not have a Certificate

Jakarta -farmers and waterfowl ponds are still difficult to gain access to the capital of the banking or financial institution. The Ministry of Marine and fisheries (CTF) explains the problem is still very few farmers who have an aquaculture farm certified making it difficult for collateral loans being made.

Dirjen Aquaculture Slamet Subyakto pleaded at least only about 20 percent of the 1.4 million acres of wetlands, waterfowl ponds that are certified.

"There is a pond Embankment and 1.4 million acres. About the certification there are 80 percent yet, "says the CTF Office in Jakarta 's, Tuesday (17/8/2012).

The CTF began partnering with BPN periodically in the form of logging for the granting of land certificates. "We have a target from year to year will register the aquaculture in particular," he added.

CTF target until 2014 could complete the certification to the farmer and farm ponds up to 47,000 certificate. The expectation, the farmers can access the certificate after acquiring the capital with ease.

"There is a problem of our land still collateral certificates much less so with the cooperation of BPN to the certification process to guarantee," close Slamet.
