While the rupiah exchange rate against the United States dollar (US) opened in stagnant Rp 9.490 per u.s. dollar as at the close of yesterday's trading position.
On trade, TRADE thinned preopening 5,789 points (0.14%) to as low as 4138,767. While the LQ45 Index weakened 1,472 points (0.21%) to as low as 708,505.
Initiating trade, Wednesday (15/8/2012), thin TRADE opened down 9,824 points (0.24%) to as low as 4.111,732. Index LQ45 opened reduced 2,228 points (0.31%) to as low as 707,749.
Length of holiday euphoria had entered the trading floor. Investors also choose not to invest in assets that are high risk and chose to come out for a moment from the trading floor.
9.35 p.m. time JATS, TRADE still continue to weaken, dropping 16,453 points (0.40%) to as low as 28694 4.105. While the index LQ45 trousers trimmed 3,270 points (0.46%) to as low as 706,707.
Yesterday, TRADE increased by 19 points in the middle of the quiet trading. Investors were less excited about facing a long two days holiday again.
Overnight, Wall Street ended flat after earlier rising high u.s. retail data to respond to exceed market expectations. Poor performance of issuers hampered the pace of reinforcement.
Bursa-bursa in Asia this morning weakened compact. Investors in the stock market less regional spirit after seeing Wall Street ended flat.
