20,000 Acres of farmed Fishery will be Revitalized

Jakarta -the Ministry of Marine and fisheries (CTF) hired Ministry of public works and National Land Agency (BPN) RI to do certification of farmed land and infrastructure development.

It is part of a plan to revitalize the dikes around Indonesia, for the initial stage there will be 20,000 hectares of ponds in West Java and Banten.

Secretary of CTF Sharif C with terbangunnya infrastructure Sutarjo explains embankment and kertersediaan certification of farmed land rights can be anggunan in accessing financing for business development of ponds.

"Synergy between sectors is intended to give confidence to the banking and other financing institutions to support the business activities of fish so cultivators also holistically supports the construction of marine and fisheries sector," says Cicip When Signing the cooperation with the Ministry and the Office of PU BPN CTF Jakarta, Monday (14/8/2012).

Separately Dirjen Aquaculture CTF, Slamet Subyakto confessed revitalization of ponds will be done through infrastructure improvements to infrastructure in the form of primary channels, secondary, tertiary, in the area of ponds. The first phase of the revitalization will be carried out on the embankment in the North coast of Java which includes the province of Banten, West Java, Central Java and East Java.

"Gradually the CTF has been targeting can revitalize the area of Fishponds in the province of Banten and West Java area of 20,000 hectares," he added.

Slamet also explain if the program revitalization of ponds in the North coast of Java then target reaches 135,000 ha of land farmed by 2014 could be achieved.

"This is certainly an impact on the attainment of the target of industrialization production of shrimp," close Slamet.
