Boss Pelindo II interfere with Harbors Cilamaya project plan

Jakarta -Implementing development projects New Tanjung Priok Port Kalibaru, or PT Pelindo II was troubled by the Government's plans to build a port in Cilamaya Karawang. The company stressed that the Government should make it a priority to build a port which had to be built.

Director of PT Pelindo II (Indonesia Port Corporation/IPC) RJ Lino said the company projects the port returned using Kalibaru fund corporations coming from bank loans and investors. The banks and investors certainly should rest assured that their investment will be returned.

"If there's suddenly there are projects built with no Cilamaya funds rather than government funds korperasi's another story. It's definitely complicate me in terms of financially. I told you can't do Cilamaya equally with Kalibaru, "said Lino in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Thursday (16/8/2012)

He thinks the time is ideal to build the port is not short, for example Port Bojonegoro need to so year 19th baktu. Moreover, with plans for a port range Kalibaru Cilamaya relatively close together, there needs to be a priority which should be built.

"After 10 years, it's too new so will affect the people who plant investment in Kalibaru Port," he said.

As known Ports development plan infrastructure projects in Cilamaya Metropolitan Area Priority (MPA) for the long term. Plan, development will be performed in about 100 kilometers to the East of Jakarta.

The project is a collaboration between MPA and Indonesia-Japan swallowed the enormous investment. The Total investment for the project is yet to be ascertained. However, it is expected to reach 2-3 trillion yen or equivalent to Rp 235-350 trillion (1 yen = $ 117,4).

MPA has actually been agreed upon project since last year in Bali. As for projects that go in it is the development of transport, international airport, port development international, clean water treatment, and waste processing.
